Two years ago I realized I wanted to write a book but didn’t know where to start. Similar to you I decided to start with short articles on topics that I was interested in.

On the one hand this helped me make the first steps and on the other hand I am indeed gathering a lot of valuable content for my book.

We often make things too big and complex whereas we simply need to split them in small chunks and start with tiny but consistent steps in the right direction.
